To integrate the client into the community is an important goal of Living Services. An important step in achieving this is to prepare the client on how to properly function within a community.

Our counselors will explain the importance and necessity of respecting other people and their property as well as courtesy and proper etiquette. The client will also need to understand which situations will require proper assertiveness and will need to be encouraged to practice it effectively.

Clients who are having difficulty in conversations will also be assisted in acquiring communication classes to enable them to communicate effectively.

Clients will also need to be made aware about being cautious when approaching or being approached by strangers and how to properly handle such situations.
